Account book listing the expenses of Phineas Talcott, a Vernon, Connecticut, farmer and legislator. The book begins with an account with the Town of Vernon for representing the town at the State Capital. Many other accounts are related to general household expenses. Talcott served as a delegate for formation of the 1818 State Constitution. Talcott was a guardian for several minor children (all with the last name Talcott), and those accounts are included as well. Pages are missing from the end of the book.
